Not just for end-of-life, our COCOONs can also be used for senior and injured pets. Some choose to add the kit to existing bedding ahead of time, to help with preparation. Others use the built-in carry handles to help transport their aging, sick or injured pet to the vet’s office before they pass away.

What shipping options are available?
Shipping within the USA - We offer FREE Expedited Delivery (approximately 2-4 business days). We are not currently able to provide any faster shipping services.
Shipping within Australia - We offer FREE Express Post (approximately 4-10 business days).
What are your processing times?
We understand how emotional and stressful this time can be, and we’re committed to getting your kit to you as quickly as possible. Orders are processed within 1-2 business days, and shipping times depend on your location. Rest assured, we’ll do everything we can to ensure your farewell kit arrives when you need it most.
When is the best time to purchase a Farewell Ceremony kit?
Planning ahead helps. Customers have informed us that having our product with them when that inevitable time came, brought great relief and comfort. We suggest ordering early to avoid added stress and a need for urgent delivery when that is possible.
Where do you ship from?
We have warehouses in Australia and across the USA to ensure fast order processing and delivery to your home. We typically get your order shipped out within 1-2 days.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Can I return or exchange my product?
Yes, if you’re not completely satisfied with your Sweet Goodbye item(s), we will gladly provide an exchange or refund, if requested within 30 days of your original order date.
Simply email us at orders@sweetgoodbyeforpets.com to make the request and we will send you a Return Address Label. The item being exchanged or returned is due back to us within the next 30 days.

I ordered the wrong size (or color), can I exchange it?
Yes, you have 30 days after your order date to request an exchange.
What if my pet dies before I receive the product?
You have a couple of options:
a. Please speak to your local vet or animal hospital about cold storing your pet until you’ve received your product and made burial or cremation arrangements.
b. If your vet is unable to assist, you are welcome to return the item to us.
WHICH PRODUCT FOR MY PET?
Our Premium Wool COCOON is perfect for cats and dogs, providing a thick, protective woolen layer and wooden carry handles for larger pets (Large and XL sizes only).
Our Classic Cotton COCOON caters for pets of all sizes from XXS animals to XL dogs, and provide a versatile, eco-friendly option. The Large and XL sizes also have wooden carry handles like our Wool COCOON for lifting heavier pets. The 100% cotton material is also lightweight and less bulky than our Wool product.
Our CLOUD is a cozy woolen pouch tailored for smaller companions like birds, rabbits and hamsters. However a small cat or miniature dog would also likely fit in a CLOUD. It's always important to check the size chart before order to avoid disappointment.

How do I use my Pet Farewell Ceremony Kit?
Our kits are designed to make this tender process as gentle as possible. Each includes easy-to-follow instructions, and many families choose to use the kit as a cozy blanket for their pet beforehand. Whether for burial or cremation, the kit offers a dignified and loving way to say goodbye.

ARE THE PET FAREWELL KITS FOR BURIAL OR CREMATION?
Sweet Goodbye products are made from eco-friendly materials and designed for both ground burial and cremation.
For Burial:
If you prefer burial for your pet, you can choose a pet cemetery as its final
resting place, or home burial if preferred and allowed. Make sure you
check local Government Laws so you know if home burial is permitted in
your area.
If you choose the burial option and it is allowed, make sure your pet is buried deep enough to prevent wildlife from disturbing the grave. And remember, if you do bury at home, that you may not be able to take your pet’s remains with you if you move.

For Cremation:
If you choose to cremate your pet, it is best to check with the crematorium before you purchase our products. Most crematoriums do allow eco-friendly items (like our products) to be included, however some crematoriums don't.

The cocoon made it so easy to respectfully transport our boy from home to car to grave. We loved the addition of the felt garland - my 8 year old son was able to participate in the "funeral" by placing it around our dog's neck. I would 100% recommend this product.
This is a very high quality product... In addition, this kit also comes with a garland, a wooden marker, and a pamphlet which has various speeches you can use if you choose to have a farewell ceremony. I was distraught, but this product made me feel as if I was honoring my companion as I said my goodbye.
This product was perfect for a hard goodbye. I'm pleased with the thought that went into it to swaddle my sweet furbaby. He loved to hide under my blankets, so, wrapping him up in this cocoon was like letting him forever be under my blankets.
Though it seems expensive, this was so worth it. I used this to say
goodbye to my sweet and precious fur baby of nearly 14 years... after he lost the battle to cancer. It comes with 2 cute momentos...a heart and a little necklace of hearts which is pictured. If you love your pet dearly, this is an excellent send off that will provide comfort and peace (for them and for you).
I loved how beautiful the whole bunting was & the sweet garland & wooden heart. One of the hardest days of my life, made more comfortable because of this burial bunting. Highly recommend.
Losing a pet is never easy but this goodbye kit was so helpful in sending my hamster off to his new adventure. Everything is thought out from the garland you wrap around your pet to the wooden heart to remember them by. Highly recommend getting this kit.
We had to say goodbye to our very favorite special little guy this past week. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. Much too soon.
